Greenpeace Denmark

Greenpeace Denmark is an independent non-governmental organisation dedicated to protecting the environment, fighting climate change and promoting renewable energy. Founded in 1978, Greenpeace Denmark has always played an active role in defending environmental rights and raising public awareness on environmental issues. Thanks to the efforts of thousands of volunteers and supporters, the organisation has achieved important results in nature conservation, such as the protection of forests, water and wildlife. Greenpeace Denmark also works internationally to promote sustainable policies and influence governmental and institutional decisions in favour of the environment. Transparency and independence are the fundamental values of the organisation, which is funded entirely through donations from its supporters.
